HEY.was at Vivo (the open space upstairs there) then i saw QJ. then she told me something quite shocking.
if my friend finds out something like this about the guy I'm with for quite soooooome time thinking of his future with another girl, i will verrrrrrrrrrrrry much want my friend to tell me honestly, actually.although things will be very fucked up(well, tell me about things getting fucked up), i rather die of sadness then than to stupidly be with him when he might be thinking of another person when he's just beside you.
and the mother fucking guy is a total mother fucker.seriously.i mean.wtf.and you could still say you don't think you are hurting your girlfriend cos you are thinking of the future.go home and fuck your mother la.cb.wad kinda screwed up mentality is this u tell me.mother fuckers like this should burn in hell.you dunno how much your poor girlfriend has been doing for you.u dunno how much she gave up for your sake.u dunno how much unneeded pressure she went through just to make you happy.mother fucker.

i went ikea wid my BABA last night.phew yo! so many things to see sia! my dad is gonna revamp my room while i will be (rotting/ decomposing/ dying/ trying to stay alive) in China, OUR motherland. i m gonna get bigger bed (prolly enough for myself and another 2 men), a bigger wardrobe (maybe enough to hide another 2 men), new curtains (to shun the public eye who can't resist getting a piece of us HAHA) etc.imagine the fun and moist i will enjoy when i'm back from Motherland =D
man.i can't wait =)
and the card would be the last attempt in bringing us back.at least i am not guilty of not trying.

She's Christopher's friend's friend who needs help with her project(webpage design). So, Chris's friend approached him for help and was told to charge her at student rate. Chris then spoke to her over the phone and told her that he usually quotes $299 for 3 pages but since she's a student he quoted her $200. She startled and asked if he could quote her lower. And so he said okie the least he could go is $150. She then agreed to the terms.
So on the first meeting Chris introduced me to her and we all started off with a good impression of each other though I was feeling a lil scared cause its my first time working on a project which requires me to use softwares that I'm still learning. Anyways, we discussed and started doing our respective tasks (logo design/colourist-me, webpage template/music/links-chris, pictures/infos/rationale- cas). I took out my layout pad and sketched everything that came to my mind, jotted down everything related to her webbie (promoting Singapore).
She then asked me this very silly question: "Hey Daph, why are you wasting so much time sketching? Why not just get down to computer generated work and show me. Isn't that faster?" I stared at her blankly and told her that cause if I were to generate on the com right away, and if I should make any mistakes, it'll be a whole lot of trouble for me to make changes. And I told her to at least trust me that I'll do a good job for her and apply what i learnt at school into this.
She was like:"Eh okie lor, as you wish, but ah make sure you try your best lehh cause ah $100 to me is alot lehh!" Then Chris said: " WHAT!!! $100 only!!! Thought you agreed $150?" then he said whatever, we're just gonna do what is required in your brief. And she remained quiet.
And then, on subsequent meetings, we met at BUGIS(my most hated place) and of all places, STARBUCKS!! WOW WOW!! Any idea what does STARBUCKS means?? Let me analyze for you. This cafe with an americano, classy, comfy feeling place, claims that they serve only quality roasted coffee beans(note: QUALITY). And when quality comes in, thats where your money comes in too. Agree? So simply put, QUALITY=STAR + MONEY=BUCKS. Now, do a simple calculation by subtracting the words in RED then add the words in GREEN together. And the answer is... STARBUCKS!! so clever. (eq. STAR + BUCKS = STARBUCKS )
Let me tell you, she's a freaking rich girl, whose dad is a businessman, dealing with some trading of foreign currencies locally and overseas, while her mom is a sleeping partner of Lee Hwa. PS. If you have the intention of robbing her, make no further hesitations, like NIKE says: "JUST DO IT".
Sorry, drifted away from main topic. Anyways, if you are freaking rich and only paying us a miserable amount of $100 to do your pathetic project, at least buy us a drink or something right? We are born with rusty forks poking our throats unlike you, a silver spoon nicely placed in your mouth! Cmon lady, didn't mommy teach you to be nice once in a while?
Whatever man. Then as the project goes by, she demands more each time and started being unreasonable to work with. Demanded me to work with Flash as she wants her introduction page to be animated which then be linked up to her main site! GOSH!! I'm so damn weak in Flash!! But at least I tried my best and still remembered what Jonathan had taught me. She's behaving like some Big shot/client working on some project which costs them a bomb/life. Hey lady, watch your tactless acts. Somehow Chris and I remained calm, I guess that is why she climbed over our heads.
After much trouble we went through, and thought that its time we should insert words and pictures then everything is settled get the pathetic damn cash and walk away with no U-turns. She called me on Sunday morning asked to meet to complete everything. Fair enough, we decided to meet in the evening around 7 at AMK mrt station. Chris and I reached there on time but didn't see her soul anywhere so we decided to wait. AND FOR GOODNESS SAKE, IF YOU ARE GONNA BE SO DAMN LATE, PLEASE BE POLITE ENOUGH TO LET US KNOW THAT YOU'LL BE LATE AND AROUND WHAT TIME YOU CAN REACH! No phone calls from her, not even her fart! Chris got so damn pissed so i decided to create peace and not piss between them I gave her a buzz. She told me that she's still at home(SIMEI) and she's not feeling well and will only meet us later in the night. Well nothing can be done at this point of time right? So we headed for McCafe and had dinner there though on budget but no choice and while waiting we worked on the lappie.
Guess what? She only came to meet us at about 4plus in the morning!!!! And I wasn't feeling very well already cause the night before didn't get a proper sleep too. Okie, took the project and we thought she'll give us a ride home. NOPE we made our own way home waited for 1st bus.
Thinking that we'll be getting our pathetic pay but still we deserve something, she didn't transfer any cash or anything. So Chris called her and she said she'll only get back to him at night. Okie whatever. Waited till Tuesday still no news, so i decided to give her a call before going to dreamland which was about 2330. She didn't answer and I was having a terrible headache so i decided to go to bed. 0226 she called and asked me to edit pictures for her!!!!! I was like but I'm not feeling good can I do it in e morning when i wakie so she said:"Eh okie can but i need it by 8am. So I send you the files online now la so long as you pass it back to me by 8am. thank you." And you know how many pictures are dere?? 100 odd. And the best thing was she didn't even do her part by getting the infos and pictures, all done by Chris. DAMNN, boy you are really silly. Why help her so much and she doesn't appreciate? All he said was not to worry he knows where he stands. Okie.
So I be nice, stayed up all night n within 2 hours still feeling sick yet managed to complete editing 100 odd pictures. I wondered why no cursing and swearing, especially doing work which was not mine. Oh well, its time she got to hand in her project and now everything is still with Chris. He said he'll only pass on to her the project till she pays up. Okie she did pass on $150 which is $75 each, and the best thing Chris told me was he BUGGED her project on certain links which forbids her a smooth presentation! SO MEAN UHH!! but i like. No wonder he remained so calm all the way. I salute him.
Well bitch let me end by telling you something. With your tactless and oh-so-negative attitude, you'll never go far in life. So what if you have everything now? Lady, bear this in mind, what you have now is all given by your parents and if you want to continue leading this good life you got to work things out. But 1st your bloody attitude. Don't wear that cross close to your heart if you are not sincere and stop asking Chris to go to your church to repent his sins. If that's the way City Harvest teaches you to promote the church in such manner, oh man City Harvest isn't professional enough in this field of advertising. Lastly, CITY HARVEST GOERS, PLEASE STOP GOING AROUND TRYING TO CONVERT PEOPLE. I'm not against any religion (I used to be from a mission school in kindergarten) but please respect one another. PLEASE THANK YOU!

Today, I just feel like sharing something with all of you, which I'm facing or will be facing. Suddenly I felt like reflecting a little on what I've learnt in school, about talented and well-known people and about their lives, what they have gone through to make them who they are today and also the essentials and fundamentals of living, making their dreams a reality. I was somehow feeling how they felt and thinking that life can really be fantabulous if only everyone cared. And yepps, here it goes, I'm getting serious for once.So what if one is talented, how much recognition and appreciation will one get?? As a designer, you do what your clients want, according to what they demand. Money is no biggy to them. When you have connections, in no time at the end, when the project is done, you'll start seeing money slapping your face, enough to even own a Lamborghini. But there again through the process of getting things done, one really have to go through much shit, stinking your brain and endlessly squeezing every drop of juice out, making you a pea brain. Stop and look around you, how many and how often people around you feel the way you feel? How long can they stand by you, encouraging you, to hang on in there? Many think that designers earn big bucks easily, but hey, they need little things around them to motivate them, even the littlest thing, called love. I don't mean falling in love will help but maybe it does? Anyway, however, a little concern and care do matter alot. Imagine you having to work on projects all day and night then suddenly a beep from your cellphone alarms and u received a text asking how are you doing?(=. At least you know that someone, somewhere in this little world, in that little little little little little corner still cares and while texting, you are actually taking a short break off your work and who knows that maybe this person may just hit you with some brilliant ideas that never came across your mind? Viola! That's where and how inspiration can come, just by snapping your fingers. As for musicians, one have to really throw oneself into a world of their own. Indulging in only selfness, pieces will speak for them. But they too, need people to show, inspire, encourage and appreciate them, together with their pieces. Every musician wants to be the next Mozart or Beethoven, in being a successful and well-known musician but not leading the kind of life they led. So why not make and help them continue to pursue their dreams, give them space and allow them to show you how much they are worth your effort. Arts in every aspect, till date, still isn't very much appreciated by many but think of these people who possessed this given talent, what if they are not given a chance to show and express themselves, where can they go? You can't play your flute allowing the melody help out in the kitchen and then suddenly the dishes are well garnished, looking, smelling and tasting good right? Well that can only happen in Sleepin Beauty which the 3 Fairies did. To sum it all up, whether you are a designer, musician, chef, businessman/woman, teacher, garang guni man, toilet aunty, road sweeper, zoo keeper, bangala worker, soldier, athlete, artiste, artist, and even Adolf Hitler (who helped Germany regained its power but also an ass who started WWII but if not for him Germany wouldn't be what it is today), everyone needs that special little thing called appreciation. Really.
And I'm sure that one day, I too can make it BIG, if only my dearest ones stay by my side. No matter what, they'll never be forgotten. LLAEVOL. ((=
